Where do we begin??? My wife and I found ourselves in some very trying situations during our trip on the ICW, from a brush with a freighter on the Mississippi River, to a bad storm on Lake Pontchartrain where we lost our engine and were being blown into shore. After getting into the safety of a marina and completing some repairs for damage that occurred during the storm, we took a minute to re-evaluate and consider our options. We decided it would be best to head back and find a captain who could bring our boat back home safe. The problem? It was just a couple of days before Christmas....who would we ba able to find on such short notice, and during a holiday? Captain Tom, that's who!!! Without any hesitation Capt Tom answered our call and was more than happy to help us in our time of need. He hand-picked a crew to come with him and sail our boat back home. He got her back fast and safe and took the time to sit down with my wife and I for a thourough debrief of their trip back. We can't thank Capt Tom and his crew enough for their willingness to help and their sacrifice of their time with their families during the holidays! Thank you so much Capt Tom, you're the best, and we couldn't have found anyone better to entrust our boat to for its return!
