I want to give my highest praise Captain Doug for helping me with an owner assisted delivery from Charleston to Kemah. He kept such a positive attitude throughout the whole sail, despite my inexperience and some challenging moments with the boat. Not only that, but he kept us ahead of schedule, did about a million things that needed doing, kept a detailed log of a million more that will need doing, and gave me a bit of high quality education. As a teacher Doug was fantastic. He was patient with my mistakes and walked me through so many things. He was excellent at walking that fine balance between being letting me learn in a stressful situation, and leaning in to help or take over when I was really in over my head. I give him my highest recommendation for all of your boating needs.
